One of the most highly anticipated Summer events in Plymouth is almost here – MTV Crashes sees both highly received national and local acts performing in the city sun to the public.
The line-up for the third night of the event: the Live and Local acts, that takes place on Plymouth Hoe on Friday 24 July has been confirmed and will see 14 acts perform on the MTV Crashes stage.
Organised by Plymouth City Council and hosted by Radio Plymouth, this event will see thousands of music fans visit The Hoe for an evening of free entertainment.
From 2pm, a number of artists will take to the stage offering a good variety of music genres, suitable for audiences of all ages.
Deputy Leader of Plymouth City Council, Pete Smith, said: “This is the second year we have hosted a community music event following the MTV concert to ensure that everybody gets a chance to attend a live music night. Between 2pm and 9pm people will be able to see the musical talent we have in our own city. These will include a mix of cover bands and acoustic singers playing their own music.
“Last year people brought their own picnics with them and enjoyed the chilled vibe whilst sat on the grass with their friends and family.”
